Hunting camps are another
area in which the ARGO has been praised for its competence within a flooded
environment. The manager of the Black River Plantation, Michael Stroff IV
explains, “Black River Plantation has over 2,000 acres of flooded trails on
the Black River in Clarendon County, SC. The Black River is very unforgiving
at times. When the waters are up the water can be as deep as four feet in
places. In dry times these trails are all mud and muck. We have tried other
ATV’s and trucks here at Black River Plantation over the past three years.
With these other vehicles, eighty percent of the trails were not accessible
until we purchased our first ARGO. We have since then made ARGO our ATV of
choice. There is absolutely no other ATV that can take on these conditions.
Black River Plantation will never use another ATV.”
Floods are
one of nature’s most dangerous environments and as such it is no surprise
that they evoke considerable anxiety when approached by a vehicle. While
some places may allow one to avoid such nasty predicaments, others require
one for commercial reasons to traverse directly through the quicksand-like
landscape. In times such as these, it is important to have a strong vehicle
that is capable of making it through and getting the job done. The ARGO 6x6
or 8x8 are vehicles that meet these characteristics. Whether it be land,
water or flooded areas the ARGO is the vehicle that will transport your
passengers and load safely and smoothly. |
